Senior Copywriter

We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter who wants to write a new chapter for themselves and our brand. We want someone who knows the value of ideas, not just words. Someone who writes for people, not algorithms. Someone who knows when to stop with this introductory paragraph.

Your Team:
You’ll work directly with and report to the Creative Director and Brand Director to develop and execute campaigns. You’ll work with an internal team of other copywriters, art directors, designers, developers, producers and discipline leads. It’s all the collaboration you’ve touted in a pitch but weren’t given a job number for.

Your Chops:
You need to know how to build relationships with teams, partners and even our customers. Seriously, you’ll likely be on production with all of them. You’ll need great presentation skills to sell people on ideas-regardless of the next award-show cycle. And you’ll lead by example to inspire DigiCert employees worldwide to always create new and better ways to experience our brand.

Your Craft:
You’ll help establish and grow the voice, tone and narrative in your writing. You’ll need to know the difference between headlines and statements. You’ll write original scripts, tell unique stories, and name products. You’ll also edit. A lot. One more thing: If you want to be an improv writer for SNL, go do that instead.

Your Pluck:
We hustle. We run like an agency. We don’t do timesheets. We don’t track PTO. We pitch. We pass. We execute. We go home on time. Yes, HR approved every word in this post.

Your Book:
It’s stellar. Bring it. We expect you to do work that adds to it and ends up in case films. If you’re interested in achieving a number of firsts in a category, bring all your good ideas.

You take personal accountability for on-time work and original ideas within the usual guardrails. You’re not prima donna. You don’t fall in love with your first idea. You know that ideas can fix everything-even bad ideas.

Required Qualifications:

5-7+ years of experience within an agency, digital marketing or a comparable

Education required

Portfolio required

Demonstrated judgment and vision

Experience with online content and experiences

Previous experience in a writerly endeavor

Entrepreneurial, motivated, self-starter

Tunnel vision not desired

Communicator of the highest order
